IOP Publishing, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the Austrian Academic Library Consortium have renewed their existing agreements for another three years from January 2020 to December 2022. The KEMÖ agreement combines access to IOP science extra with the possibility to publish open access free of charge. Austrian researchers will have the chance to have their Article Publication Charge (APC) paid by their funder or research institute.

In the last year of the agreement term, renewal negotiations are usually conducted by the office.
