The Open Access Monitor Austria (OAMA) gathers publication data from various sources to enable Austria-wide open access monitoring and to support negotiations with scientific publishers. The publication data are either imported from the participating institutions' current information systems or provided manually by the institutions themselves.
The application was developed as part of the project Austrian Transition to Open Access 2 (AT2OA2) and will be continued at the Austrian Library Network and Service Ltd. (OBVSG) and the head office of the Austrian Academic Library Consortium (KEMÖ) for the period from 2025 to 2027.
If your institution is interested in providing data to the Open Access Monitor Austria, please contact emedien@obvsg.at.
